Ōpōtiki Creative Club Term 1

Service Description

Do you live in the Ōpōtiki area? Do you have a son or daughter who loves anything to do with being creative. Each week we will meet to create, whether it be music, drama, art or a game. This isn't your usual creative club though. Whilst exploring different art forms, the kids will learn about who they are and what their strengths are. We will tackle themes like bullying, friendship issues, dealing with low confidence, anxiety, struggles at school, all whilst socialising and having fun. Each session will start with an activity that wakes up the imagination and body to tap into the wairua of each participant. Each member of the group will explore their leadership potential and learn to love who they are inside and out. Course can be paid for weekly at $12. Group may be split into different age groups depending on interest. If cost is a problem scholarships are available.
